This image was taken almost 3 years after my first attempt at the Orion Nebula with a digital SLR camera. Just one minute exposure with an astronomical CCD camera has gone deeper than 30 minutes with the Canon 300D digital SLR. Of course the field of view is smaller, so I now have to create a mosaic.
