Caldwell 24 (large)

Caldwell 24 (Abell 426) Perseus Galaxy Cluster

Perseus A (NGC 1275) is the bright galaxy at the centre of the photo. It is currently colliding with a spiral galaxy. You can see some evidence for the collision at the top left and bottom right of the galaxy. It is a very active X-Ray and radio source.
